1. Kids should feel afraid of ‘Doctor Who.’ All the adults I’ve talked to remember fondly being afraid when they were kids. That’s part of the reason they remember it and love it. And if you’re afraid in a controlled way, you sort of appreciate fear in some respect.

People all over the world wear purple on Spirit Day in a stand against bullying and to show their support for LGBTQ youth. Started on Tumblr and observed annually since 2010, individuals, schools, organizations, corporations, and public figures wear purple, which symbolizes ‘spirit’ on the rainbow flag.
Getting involved is easy: just wear purple on October 17th and turn your blogs, Facebook and Twitter profile pics purple using the app for iPhone and Android to help create a world in which LGBT youth are celebrated and accepted for who they are.
